To be completely honest, my current situation is what some might call a "frontend developer in transition." In the recent wave of AI-driven layoffs, my long tenure at my previous company came to an unexpected end. Currently, I am back on the job market, navigating the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry.
The reason I can write these words with a sense of calm is thanks to a decision I made a few years ago: investing in High-Yield ETFs. Those monthly distributions have become my lifeline, sustaining my daily life and giving me the breathing room to regroup and sharpen my skills without the weight of immediate financial panic.
The Pivot & Giving Back
Having spent a long time at one company, I realized my tech stack had become somewhat stagnant. In our world, the fastest way to bridge that gap is through real-world practice.
Throughout my journey of building an income portfolio, I received invaluable insights and support from various high-dividend investment communities. These shared experiences helped me build the financial shield I rely on today. I felt a strong urge to give back to this community.
That's how this website and the Backtest Calculator were born. It started as a personal tool to analyze my own holdings, but I decided to polish it and share it as a contribution to the community that helped me.

What began as a collection of messy scripts for analyzing Global X's index-based Covered Call ETFs and other income-generating assets has evolved into this tool. My goal is to make complex yield-generating products more transparent for everyone seeking financial resilience.
